Do we place God first in everything? “The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead.” Psalms 10:4
It breaks my heart to even think that people don’t give God the credit where credit is due. He is the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end.
My Creator is bigger than any giant I face in life. He is my rescuer and redeemer. When you are facing a challenge in life, He is there to provide you an out and protect you.
God can hear the softest whisper in prayer and when you’re reaching out to him for help. He will always be close to you if you ask Him to.
Yet, when a person needs help in their finances or health, they want everything their way and done now. This person becomes self-entitled and self-righteous. It seems we have an epidemic of selfishness in our world today, and this seriously creates many kinds of unhealthy situations.
To have a person think that God is dead to them is seriously playing Russian roulette with their soul. Make God first in all priorities! The first of the Ten Commandments states that We will have no other Gods before Him. Exodus 20:3
Anything you choose can become a god to us and anything we worship or put an excessive amount of time into is considered an idol.
If you want happiness and to feel at peace in your life, then keep God in your life a priority. Always be worshiping Him and not objects or idols. People worship their money, fame, materialistic objects and themselves, but the outcome is not good.
When you decide to serve God with your whole heart and truly make Him first and your everything in your life, your soul will prosper and your joy and peace will increase.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
Written by Tamera Boynton
When we place God first, all things fall into the proper place and things that are of no good to us drop out of our lives. Our love of the Lord will govern the claims of our affection, the demands on our time, the interests we pursue, and the order of our priorities.
And he is the head of the body, the church, he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead so that in everything he might have the supremacy. Colossians 1:18
