One of the most dangerous enemies in our lives is Greed. It’s downright crazy and it comes in many forms. It’s not just involving money. We can be greedy for other reasons, which include attention seeking, time hoarding, and feeling self-entitled. Money and fame can cause people to do atrocious things!
Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” Luke 12:15
Greed is completely pointless. It will cost you your friends, your relationships, peace, and your soul. When you look at the money it’s paper, right? And dirty being handled by so many people. Many people aren’t happy with what they have. They crave more and more, do you really need that much?!
Our culture has a poisonous mentality that making yourself happier is the most important thing in the world. There is no eternal reward for selfishness. Greediness is a dangerous snare that can change the things that you find value in this life. We are to always keep our eyes on what truly matters. this is crucial for staying on the right track. Remember taking the narrow path is safe. Do not take the open and large one, (which will lead you to destruction.)
But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:9-10
Jesus lived a life of self-sacrifice, not in self-entitlement. God came down in human form and died for us. Greed can be conquered with God’s help. Greed is such a powerful enemy! Tell greed to take a hike, and show others what real purpose looks like!
So the next time you crave to be rich and have it all, remind yourself that you will lose in the end. Are you seriously willing to give up your soul to Satan and the world? Not me. I am humble and thankful for what I have and I know my true home is in Heaven with God forever.

But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:11-12
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
