Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people, pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8
We tend to think that we need to approach God from a standpoint of total faith and strength, pretending we have our act together and situation, sounding perfect in our prayers before him. How wrong could that be? God wants us to come to Him freely and open and not be afraid to just be yourself. He invites us to pour out our hearts to Him!
When there is a sin that is a concern, never ever attempt to hide it. God already knows everything we’ve done wrong and He has provided for our forgiveness. Confess our sins to Him and ask for His help on being a better person and walk with Christ not in a distance away from Him. Whatever is heavily wearing on your heart talk to Him and list all that is a burden to you. He is our best friend and one that can be fully trusted and will give you peace. You don’t have to go looking for someone to speak to about a delicate situation your enduring in your life, you have Jesus Christ. No money to dish out to a counselor, not second guessing if what you have shared will be shared with others, God has this and He is trustworthy.

I CALL YOU BY NAME and lead you. I know you I know every detail about you. You are never a number or statistic to Me. My involvement in your life is far more personal and intimate than you can comprehend. So follow Me with a glad heart. After My resurrection, when Mary Magdalene mistook Me for the Gardner, I spoke one word, “Mary.” Hearing Me say her name, she recognized Me and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabbani!” which means Teacher. Beloved, I also speak your name in the depths of your spirit. When you read your Bible, try inserting your name into appropriate passages. Remember, I called you out of darkness into My marvelous Light. I chose to set My everlasting Love upon you. Take time to “hear” Me speaking to you personally in Scripture, reassuring you of My Love. The unshakeable knowledge that I love you forever provides a firm foundation for your life. It strengthens you so that you can follow Me faithfully and joyfully proclaiming My praises as you journey through your life.
