Feeling Lost And Afraid

I know that the determination of the way of man is not in himself, it is not in man even in a strong man or in a man at his best to direct his own steps.  Jeremiah 10:23

Have you ever found yourself in times of deep distress? A situation you may not know how to handle? Feeling the need to do something about it but just unsure of how to do it and when? Ask and seek direction from the Lord right away. Because I have a relationship with the Lord I know that His ways are far much better than mine and everything will work out as He has planned for me.

Trusting God to reveal and direct my steps and words during a difficult time is all I need to know. I don’t want the control or to make big decisions without him. I make it a point to get to a spot where I am alone and it is quiet. I present the situation to the Lord and ask for immediate help. I express how much I am trusting in Him and for this to be His way and not mine. Keep doing what you what you know you need to do like praying, worshipping, being grateful and thankful, being a blessing to others in need, studying the Bible and going to church. Get on the phone or social media and reach out to your prayer teams. They are there for you and will be in agreement in prayer. Continue to be faithful and soon God will give you the answer and show his mighty presence. God is full of surprises and blessings.

I’ve been through many dark and painful times in my lifetime and I know there will be more. I will not fear or worry about what is about to happen or the aftermath, I just put my full faith and hope in Him and know He hears me and has a plan that will take away all forms of fear, worry, anger, and feeling lost in the trial. He has never failed me and has given me strength and empowerment through His promises and miracles. Rest in His promises and know He is present and the angels.

Do Not Grow Weary And Lose Heart When you are dealing with difficulties that go on and on, it’s easy to get so tired that you feel like giving up. Chronic problems can wear you down. If you focus too much on these troubles, you’re in danger of sliding into a black hole or self -pity or despair. There are several kinds of weariness. Unrelieved physical tiredness makes you vulnerable to emotional exhaustion and spiritual fatigue losing heart. However, I have equipped you to transcend your troubles by fixing your eyes on Me. I paid dearly for this provision by enduring the cross for you. Pondering My willingness to suffer so much can strengthen you to endure your own hardships. Worshipping Me is a wonderful way to renew your strength in My Presence. When you take steps of faith by praising Me in the midst of difficulties, My glorious Light shines upon you. As you persevere in focusing on Me, you reflect My Glory to others, and you’re transformed into My likeness with ever-increasing Glory.
