The Most Important Thing

And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  Matthew 22:37

What is the most important thing that you make as a priority in your life? Is it yourself, your family, your job? My first priority is and always will be “GOD”.  Keeping Him first in my life is something I make every effort to do because there are many things out there that try and crowd their way in and push Him out. Always Love God first then do what you need to do.

Without making Him first in everything I would have total chaos and depression. He keeps me focused and my priorities grounded and straight. Often I find myself straightening them out and giving God the full control on how things should be which involves letting go of always being in control.

Love God and respect Him to the fullest. If we draw closer to God, falling more deeply and intimately in love with Him, recognizing His amazing goodness, and all that He does for us, then any sin we are confronted with will not be tempting or attractive.

In the early morning, I make it a point to sit quietly and lay out everything that is on my heart and any concerns for my loved ones and myself. I ask for His Devine intervention and surrender my will to Him so it will be fully His and not mine. Most of the time the prayer requests are answered right away. Making sure that I always thank him when done and for the past answered prayers.

Life doesn’t have to be crazy and out of control. Take a hard look at your life and often what is first in your life, and if it isn’t God, make that adjustment and see what happens!

LISTEN TO ME CONTINUALLY. I have much to communicate with you, so many people and situations in need of prayer. I am training you to set your mind on Me more and more, tuning out distractions through the help of My Spirit. Walk with Me in holy trust, responding to My initiatives rather than trying to make things fit your plans. I died to set you free, and that includes freedom from compulsive planning. When your mind spins with a multitude of thoughts, you cannot hear My voice. A mind preoccupied with planning pays homage to the idol of control. Turn from this idolatry back to Me. Listen to Me and live abundantly!   John 8:36  Proverbs 19:21  John 10:27
