Do Not Lose Heart

bible-quote-2l

Living in today’s generation we are seeing chronic problems in many areas of our lives and others. When you focus too much on these troubles you will find yourself in danger of sliding down that slippery slope and into that black hole that never ends in despair.

The list of chronic stresses could be enormous and long. It can be from an addiction you or a loved one is struggling with and need direction and help to break this. Perhaps it could be you’re having financial issues and not making enough in your current job to cover expenses. Maybe it’s time to start thinking about a “Career” rather than just working to get by at a dead end job. The cost of living has skyrocketed and people are finding themselves working many jobs to get by and afford rent or a mortgage payment. Perhaps, there is a relationship that is stretched way too thin and in dire need of counseling or reaching out and communicating with your loved one and getting to the source of the problem, then asking and seeking the Lord to intervene and help.

If you’re losing heart you will find yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually exhausted. Your faith tank is running on fumes. What do you do? Where do you go to fix this? Who can help? The answer is free and the help is free with amazing results that leave you and your life changed forever! It’s having a relationship with and closeness to God. Be in his presence and worship him in prayer and song. Rely fully on Him to take your burdens and turn them into blessings. What needs to be taken away, will be. What needs to be added to will be. He will remove any toxic habits or people, and place you on the right path. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

Understand we all face stresses in life and responsibilities that cause anxiety, worry, self-doubt, and fatigue. At this point, you are wanting to just plain give up! Well, don’t! Stop yourself and take a deep breath, and lay everything out before the Lord that is causing so much stress, grief, anxiety, dread or depression. Place complete faith and hope in your prayers to the Lord and be precise. Close your eyes and allow God to fill up the darkness that lurks within you. You CAN survive the hardships that you endure. Praise God through the storms and know he is always by your side. But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint.  Isaiah 40:31

Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

From my experiences in life, I’ve learned the hard way that if you hold in deep-seeded anger, resentment, or stresses that are present in your life you will be miserable. Or, you’ve endured a traumatic event from the past, (PTSD), and you’re still struggling to work through it, it will eat you up like slow-growing cancer and take away any chance of Joy.

If you surrender your weariness to God and seek to have Joy and Peace in your life you will. Persevere in focusing on God and not the problem. Remember, He is bigger than any problem you face in your life and will conquer and destroy what is out to harm you. Give God all the Glory!

There are several kinds of weariness. Unrelieved physical tiredness makes you vulnerable to emotional exhaustion and spiritual fatigue losing heart. However, I have equipped you to transcend your troubles by fixing your eyes on Me. I paid dearly for this provision by enduring the cross for you. Pondering My willingness to suffer so much can strengthen you to endure your own hardships. Worshipping Me is a wonderful way to renew your strength in My Presence. When you take steps of faith by praising Me in the midst of difficulties, My glorious Light shines upon you.
