God Will Restore What Is Broken

How many times have you found yourself going through a rough patch in your life or being challenged by just how strong your faith really is? Do you find yourself doubting and second guess yourself or decisions you’ve made in a situation that needed prayer and action right away? Well, you’re not alone. If you truly trust God during a storm in your life, He will be there for you.

Throughout the years I have highlighted, saved, and bookmarked many verses when I’ve faced trials and difficult times. Here are just a few that can be of assistance to you.

Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Colossians 3:12

God can restore what is broken and change it into something amazing. All you need is faith. Joel 2:25

When you go through a tough time and feel broken, remember that having faith and praying to God will bring you through it and will make you whole again. Let go of all of your fears and turn to the Lord. Be precise and ask exactly for what it is you need.

Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul. Psalm 138:3

Praying will heal all wounds if you’re willing to let go and allow God to be in full control.

God will bring light through any dark time, and will overrule darkness every single time.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome. John 1:5

Don’t focus your mind on earthly things–remember that there is a higher purpose to all of this. Set your mind on things above. Colossians 3:2

Again, remember that prayer heals all wounds. Whether that be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him. He answered my prayer. Psalm 120:1

God will always love you and see’s you as important. Looking to Him will help you feel secure in His name. Whenever you feel unloved, unimportant or insecure, remember to whom you belong. Ephesians 2:19-22

You will never fail when God is within you. God is within her, she will not fall. Psalm 46:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Turn to the Lord in situations when you are not sure what to do; He will be able to make the decision far better than you can alone. And it is His will, not ours.

There is not one soul here on earth that will not go through tough times, but what really matters is how you get yourself through it. There will be many, many times where people will test your faith and try to get you to go against it. Getting through that and never turning away from Him will give you an eternity of happiness. Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12
