Walking In Strength

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6

God has promised that whatever lies ahead of us he is there in the midst. We may be going through some rough patches in our life right now and feel so alone and sad. Perhaps you are facing some big changes and that can be really scary. When feeling overwhelmed with so much in life that is being thrown at us, sit down make a list and find a quiet place to pray. Put time to the side to talk to God and read from your list of worries, concerns, wishes, and prayer requests. Be specific in your prayers and be patient. Everything will work in a timely matter in God’s timing, not ours.

Psalm 62:1-2 My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

Feed your soul with verses from the Bible. Be positive in prayer time with the Lord and keep the faith. Work out if you can by taking long walks, PiYo, or weights. You’d be amazed at how you will feel when you’re done. Rest and hydrate all you can. Stay away from toxic people or things that bring you down.

Isaiah 43:1-3 Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord you God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

Remember, God’s plan is much better than ours and our God is much bigger than the problems that we face. Keep your head up and deep breathe. Do not lose your hope in Christ or in yourself.
