Our lives are full of many Chapters. God has before him our “Book of Life” our blueprint as to what will take place for us while here on earth.
When one chapter closes another will open and be bigger and better than the last. You will, however, have few that will be hard to walk through and endure but you have to remember that in the end we will be fine and God is present in every situation. He never said or promised our life here would be easy.
God never said that the journey would be easy, but He did say it would be worth it. WE WILL face discipline. In Hebrews 12:7 it says, “Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?” WE WILL face difficulties. John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” But God will carry us every step of the way and we know that in the end, we will be with Jesus in eternity! Philippians 1:6 says, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
The best advice to handle each Chapter you start and end in your life is, read the Bible and study God’s promises. It gives you fuel to your life and hope. The Lord doesn’t ask for much and wants us to keep our faith strong by trusting him.
Strive to stay away from past negative influences or people that caused hardship and pain for you. Live for Jesus and not for man here on earth. Trust God and know that all he promised will come true. Make it a point to thank God and his Son Jesus Christ for answered prayers. Understand when God says NO it isn’t to be cruel or that you don’t deserve it, “His ways are better than ours”.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
