Ever wonder if more people out there in the world were more kind-hearted and loving to each other we wouldn’t have the chaos and drama that is happening now? I was brought up to be kind and respectful to others. I’ve always made it a point to be helpful to anyone, needing assistance with a door being opened, or when they drop something it is picked up and returned to them. How about when you see a person needing a shoulder to lean on and be heard? When you share your kindness with others, it can create a ripple effect.
Be real when you do show kindness… Do not look to puff yourself up on pride or announce to everyone what you’ve done for this person in need. Be humble and keep it to yourself, for God see’s everything and you will be rewarded in heaven. Remember the “Fruit of the Spirit”. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.” Galatians 5:22-23
You’re never alone when facing a trial, and the heavy burden that weighs you down. God is in the present and hears you. Be there for others when they face trials in their lives.
Burden-Bearing and the Law of Christ
The main point of Galatians 6:1–5, “Bear one another burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” If a Christian brother or sister is weighed down or menaced by some burden or threat, be alert to that and quickly do something to help. Don’t let them be crushed. Don’t let them be destroyed. Don’t be like the scribes and Pharisees.
Jesus said, “They bind heavy burdens hard to bear and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves will not move them with their finger” Matthew 23:4.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” Matthew 11:28–30
