The Steps Of The Godly

When you’ve accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and are dedicated to walking with him throughout your time here on earth, be prepared to be tempted, tested and face difficult situations. This is when your faith will be on the front line. Remember that God already knows the plan and the path you’re on and how everything will unfold. Stay grounded in his word and do not take your eyes off of Jesus.

But you, O Lord, are a shield around me…I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.   ~Psalm 3:3-5

Praise him when you’re facing hardships, struggles and any form of temptations that are not godly. Stop and make sure your thoughts are focused solely on him and you are not holding on to unforgiveness, anger, or resentment.

Make time for prayer in the morning and throughout the day. Praise him even when you are being challenged or facing chaos or disappointment. He hears you and knows where your heart is. He is holding you in his love and adoration for you is beyond what you could conceive.

The Lord is my strength, my shield from every danger. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. The Lord protects his people.  ~Psalm 28:7-8
