God never promised us a trouble free life, but He does promise to never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5
In the hard times, we can take comfort knowing that God loves us tremendously. He has his eye on us, and He is already working behind the scenes to help us. God says, fear not there is nothing to fear, for I am with you, do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your god. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you. God has a tremendous plan for each of our lives.
Trials are good for us, Jesus says, Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. James 1:2-3
Being patient has to do with being steadfast, disciplined and committed to not running from difficult things but sticking with them all the way through. With Gods help you can go through and come out stronger on the other side. You’re probably wondering what do trials accomplish for us? well, let’s see I can think of about 6 reasons here. They increase our faith, humble us, cause us to completely depend on God, they develop character, it gives glory to God, and it develops patience. Consider this, trials help us change. Always Trust God through the trial.
Blessed is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive the crown of life. James 1:12
Be strong and know that this trial or trials you’re facing now will not last forever. Remember, this too shall pass. In the meantime be at rest and know that God has a plan (his plan) and we can be rest assured everything will fall together.
