Hearts Bleeding Blue

Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9

As I was spending time with the Lord this morning in devotional time and prayer, I had the news down on low and heard another law enforcement life was taken. My heart aches for the officer and the families that have sadly lost a loved one. I don’t know how many times I had to rewrite and edit this message that I felt compelled to share, due to frustration, but understand it is coming from the heart as a wife to an officer and these are my words. {Except of course, the Bible verses.}

A message to the wicked evil ones out there that choose to kill any Peacemaker as a sport and out of sheer hatred. “Fear God’s wrath, for here on earth man’s wrath is considered a sin. However, God’s wrath is fair, final and fully justified. And you will be dealt with accordingly and swiftly.”

Never take your own revenge, beloved; but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance is Mine”, I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 NASB

With this verse above, it gives me full reassurance that it is God that has the final say in the matter. I trust him fully and it gives me complete peace in knowing that he is here to comfort us in the worst and ugliest of times.

Lifting up all the law enforcement families in prayer that are now mourning for their loved ones that have been taken from them so selfishly. And prayers for the officers that are out on the streets now protecting us to the best ability they can. These men and women are God’s Peacemakers working hard and putting their lives on the line daily.

  1. So saddened to hear another fallen officer. This will impact the lifes of many and it will be painful for families and friends of both sides of that weapon. Oh dear Lord when will people learn from the lessons of the past? Lord please touch the hearts of the masses. Let them fall into tears of sorrow for they will see what humanity has become and they will have seen what part in it they took.

  2. Tragedies happening every 53 minutes a police officer or a police officer and his/her family are gunned down. There’s not a day I don’t pray for all LEO’s and that includes Correction’s, Security, etc… Only God can intervene and stop these disgusting acts.
